Who is the KCS Network Team? |
Department Announcements Network MonitoringThe network team has been using a network monitoring software called What's Up Gold over the last few years. This enables us to monitor outages on individual school networks remotely thus allowing us to see problems as soon as schools begin to have network difficulties. What's Up Gold has enabled us to have a quicker response time to get to individual schools when we see an issue with the school's network.

All requests regarding Active Boards and Smart Boards need to be made using the IT Direct system in School Dude. New Network DropsHow to request new network drops
If you need new network outlets installed in your school, please make those requests by using system Maintenance Direct system, rather than School Dude. This will get those requests into the system faster than using School Dude.  Emergency AssistanceFor network emergencies call 594-1830 or 216-6765.
